Otter.ai: common questions

Otter has a bigger free tier. Why switch?

300 free minutes is genuinely more generous than our 60. The question is what happens after: their paid plans still meter minutes, ours do not. Below five hours a month, their free tier may serve you better.

Which is better for recorded files rather than live calls?

We are, by design. Otter is built around live meetings; file-based work — long recordings, subtitles, multiple languages — is where our workflow is stronger.

Do you integrate with Salesforce like OtterPilot?

No. Their integration ecosystem is deeper. We give you an API from the Pro plan and expect you to wire it where you need it.

Try it on your own audio.

Sixty free minutes a month is enough to compare accuracy yourself instead of trusting a table.
