Getting better results
Most accuracy problems are recording problems. These four things matter more than any setting.
Put the microphone near the talking
A phone across the table picks up more room than voice. Nothing in the pipeline recovers what the microphone never captured.
Record each participant separately when you can
Per-participant tracks make speaker labels dramatically more reliable than a single mixed recording.
Check the first two minutes
If names and jargon come through correctly at the start, the rest of the file usually holds up.
Prefer WAV or FLAC for important recordings
Uncompressed audio has nothing thrown away, and it transcribes measurably better than a low-bitrate MP3.
