What comes up when the recordings are research.
Is the transcript verbatim or cleaned up?
Verbatim by default — hesitations, repetitions, and false starts are preserved, because in qualitative work they carry meaning. You can tidy it afterwards; we do not decide for you what was noise.
Can I import it into NVivo or Atlas.ti?
Yes. Export as plain text or Word and import as you would any transcript. Speaker labels survive the export, so coding by speaker works immediately.
Will my institution accept the data handling?
Processing is in the EU under GDPR, a DPA is available for ethics committees, and recordings are never used to train models. Those are the three things review boards usually ask about.
