Some organisations cannot send recordings to a third party at all, regardless of where it is hosted. For those, the engine can run inside your own infrastructure, including fully air-gapped environments with no outbound connection.
Everything else is negotiable to fit: retention policies, volume, API limits, and support response times backed by an agreement rather than a best effort.
